Del-Lords - Frontier Days (2009)

Del-Lords' excellent first record from 1984 is finally available on CD with five extra tracks compared with the old vinyl. Led by former 'Dictators' Scott Kempner the record starts with version of Alfred Reed's 'How Can A Poor Man Stand Such Times And Live', which should make Bruce Springsteen blush after his blame attempt on the 'Seeger Sessions', before throwing itself into 'Get Tough' and 'Livin' On Love'. You don't get much better start on a record than this! The extra tracks are actually very good (which they usually isn't on this kind of records) and includes 'Wastin' Time Talkin'' (very good) and a rough version of 'Love On Fire'.
Highly recommended!
