helen love – Radio Hits, Vol. 3 (2002)

Since I liked helen love’s “It’s my party...” so much I also bought this record from 2002. This one is perhaps even better/more fun. Best tunes are Leader of the Pack and Does Your Heart Go Boom. High energy electro-punk.

helen love – It’s My Club and I’ll Play What I Want To (2008)

I found a tune (Debbie Loves Joey) on Spotify and I found it so good that I bought their latest record, which was a new find to me. helen love is some kind of electro-punk or bubblegum-punk or whatever. What it is, is pure fun! The first thorough listening of the record was made during a road trip on a couple of hours, which went quickly. Favourite tunes on the record are: Staying In, Debbie Loves Joey (everything with a reference to Blondie or Ramones gets an extra plus in my book) and Queen of the Disco Beat.

The Jim Jones Revue (2008)

Have I already bought the best record of this year? Perhaps!
When I received this record early January, it was the most exciting new band I’ve heard for long time and now I’ve been listening on the record for almost three months and it’s still very good.
The record is classical rock’n’roll with a frenzy which unbelievable!
Eight of the ten songs are already classics in my record collection!
A must!
