Sorry and the Sinatras - Highball Roller (2009)

Scott Sorry is the present bass player in one of my absolute favourite bands of all time - the Wildhearts (which plays in Borlänge this summer!). The record is his project on the side of the Wildhearts and since there is no new Wildhearts record until the autumn this record can be a substitute. This is a good dose of high-energy punk with the typical pop feeling which exists in almost all side project to the Wildhearts. Of course I like this very much - perhaps the second best record this year?! No bad tracks at all - "Nose don't work" and "So far from home" are the favourites at the moment. The whole record is very similar as Danny McCormack's side project "The Yo-Yo's" (excellent band) but with marginally higher tempo. Good clean fun and highly recommended!

Rating 8/10
